她还表示，中国人非常智慧，总想做出与众不同的成果，也能看清未来什么最重要。谈及特斯拉上海工厂，梅耶称，自己曾前往工厂参观，看到员工的工作状态很好，只要有人对优化生产、改进产品有新的想法，就可以彼此分享交流，这种氛围在很多地方是难得一见的。据了解，此前，马斯克曾在社交平台X上一条讨论特斯拉在华业务的帖子下留言称：“中国太棒了，我强烈推荐大家去看看。”随后，梅耶转发了马斯克的相关帖文并表示认同。她称，中国每个城市都有自己的独特魅力，也有不同的文化景点值得参观；建筑和街道干净整洁、维护良好，人们彬彬有礼、勤劳且尊重他人。梅耶还表示，自己在中国感到很安全，因此非常享受前往中国旅行。
